Have you ever asked yourself out of Ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt and Mesopotamia which one had the most influence on our world today? The Ancient Mesopotamians were definitely the most influential. They were some of the first people to make tools and then innovate the tools that they had already created, hunting and learning the best hunting strategies and how they found out how to make the first irrigation systems and some of that had to do with the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers. Making tools was one of the first things that the Mesopotamians accomplished and they were one of the first ones to get to it because they were one of the first civilizations. They made some of the first tools but one thing is that they were also very useful. Just as well that they made tools, they made them better. One of the things that they used was the sickle because since they were next to rivers, and when they would over flow that would make them sprout faster. Then they would have a meal that they could bring back to their camp and the people of that camp would be very happy with them because they are providing food for the others. One of the things that they also made for them to use are spears. They could sit up in trees and when a pig or some type of animal that they could hunt walks by, they could throw their spear at the animal and then go track the animal to get more food. They eventually made the tip of the spear out of stone and sharped that so that it could penetrate better. They would go to the Tigris and the Euphrates river and get up in a tree and wait for the animals to come to get water. When the river would overflow they realized that their crops grew
