Artist are everywhere. Some more famous than others. Each artist has their own story and their own reasons on why they painted some of the art work the way they did and such. I picked Hieronymus Bosch and Pablo Picasso for my artist simulation. Each artist has a dark lonely side to each of them, which caught my attention right away.

Hieronymus Bosch is my “master” artist. He was born in 1450 but no one has an idea of what date because there is no information on this. He was born in Burgundian, Netherlands. His mom was Aleid Van Der Mynnen and his dad was Anthonius Van Aken. Bosch had 2 brothers and a sister. His dad was an artistic adviser to the Brothernou. No one knows much information about him or how his life was. Also, he was the master of surrealism. Bosch was a man who influenced many people in the way he did all of his paintings. He is very famous for his garden of delights. Hieronymus life soon comes to an end on August 9, 1516 in Habsburg, Netherlands.

I chose the Death and the Miser. This piece has a lot of detail and has a lot going on it it. I did a little snip of it because doing all of it would take a very long time and would be a lot of work. He adds so much detail in all of his work and has a lot of shades and tints to give everything more depth. The story behind the painting is the Miser in the death bed and everything else just adds detail to the death. Some detail that is also used is the colors that are used to help give the painting more meaning. I chose this painting because it has a evil tone to it and that gives me excitement how he did something so dark and making it look beautiful.
