Abstract Background
Health Care industry today are known to be generating large amount of complex data ranging from different entities including patients , hospitals resources, disease records etc. Recently, there has been tremendous increase in the application of informatics to health care which is defined as science of information, the practice of information processing, and the engineering of information systems The growing adoption of information technologies in healthcare and the availability of more patient data and related healthcare variables provide new opportunities for using analytics to impact health outcomes allowing healthcare providers to gaining control and storing great amounts of patient data. Big data is a gathering …show more content…

Congress in August 2014 defines big data as “large volumes of high velocity, complex, and variable data that require sophisticated techniques and technologies to enable in gaining control, storage, distribution, management and analysis of the information” .Coincidentally health care big data has been known to have covered such features as variety, velocity and complexity due to active records being generated day in day out and real-time datas being gathered. Velocity,Complexity and Variability of data grows with data that characterize regular monitoring, such as disease infection per population region, multiple daily diabetic glucose measurements , blood pressure readings, and Electrocardiogram …show more content…

Owing to the changes the current world of data is acquiring, it is one of the optimal approach for approximating the nearby future consequences. As discussed earlier, advanced researches in health care has there is exponential increase in amounts of data being generated each year making getting more useful information from the data critical and less realistic conquest. The main difficulty is how to cultivate the existing information into a useful
