Some say that it’s impossible for two lovers to fall in love at first glance, others say it is so possible. Sometimes, it’s even possible that love will drive you to do anything. In this essay I will be explaining the love and hate within Romeo’s and Juliet’s relationship. Romeo’s and Juliet’s lives were brought to a halt when the love and war in their love life forced them to die for one another. Their bond was so strong that nothing could keep them apart. With this duo love wasn't enough to describe that they had for one another. They were star-crossed lovers, that literally changed the game with these two. When you are star-crossed, the love is so real that nothing else truly matters, you’re basically blind to everything around that is not your partner. This can be shown on page 23 when Romeo stated “I’m not myself. I’m not here, this isn’t Romeo, he’s somewhere else.” Romeo had fallen so in love that without her he was slowly fading away. The two were inseparable. On page 93 Juliet cried, I’ll only remember how much I love your company,” Juliet couldn’t function knowing that Romeo was not there. As Romeo stated on page 101, “I love Rich Capulet’s daughter, I love her and she loves me.” This quote from the poem further explains how a difference such as them being from rival families deeply affected their relationship. Romeo simply fell in love with who was supposed to he his archnemesis. Further along in the relationship, the effects started to hit home and temper with their mental state of minds. On page 23 Romeo said that “My sadness sits heavy in my chest,” Romeo was starting to fall in a depression.
