“Guardians of the Galaxy” is a marvels superhero film. The movie is about a group of intergalactic criminals forced to work together to stop an evil warrior from taking over the universe. The movie starts off with young Peter Quill played by actor Chris Pratt that was abducted from earth and raised by a group of alien thieves/smugglers called the Ravagers. Twenty-six years later Quill steals an orb, after which Korath the Pursuer played by Djimon Hounsou trys to steal it from him. Korath is an assistant to Ronan the accuser that is played by Lee Pace. Quill escapes with the orb, but Yondu Udonta played by Michael Rooker, the leader of the Ravagers discovers Quill’s theft and issues a bounty for his capture. Korath then tells Ronan about the theft and Ronan sends his assassin Gamora which is play by Zoe Saldana after the orb. Quill then attempts to sell the orb on the Nova Empire capital world planet. Gamora finds him and steals the orb from him issuing a fight for it. The fight and chase draws the attention of a pair of bounty hunters, Rocket voiced by Bradley Cooper and …show more content…

The Dark Aster crash-lands on the planet Xandar. Groot sacrifices himself to shield the group and save them. Ronan arises from the crash and gets ready to destroy Xandar. Quill is able to distract Ronan, giving Drax and Rocket the chance to destroy Ronan's hammer. Quill grabs the Infinity Stone and with the Guardians, they use it to destroy Ronan. Afterwards Quill tricks Yondu into taking a container hypothetically containing the Infinity Stone, and gives the real Stone to the Nova Corps. The Guardians of the Galaxy have their criminal records erased, and Quill learns that he is only half-human. His father was part of an unknown species.
