Christianity is now on the rise in our world: people all over the world are coming together to plant churches, to evangelize, to reproduce and to supervise followers. Everywhere in the world leaders are planting churches. Leaders are putting churches in every contery. People that did not know Christ can now come to church and learn about the savior. “The number of Christian in the world is currently 2.18 billion, which is one third of the world’s population. The number represents a rise from the 1910 Christian population, when the world has 600 million Christians.”

There are now more followers and leaders in Christ than ever before. Do not take us light, Christianity is rising, our Christian leaders are stepping up the game. Leaders are reaching out to the unreached to share the good news to God’s people, it is not enough. “If all God wants us was to plant churches, our task would have been completed a long time ago.” God wants his followers to love him and to keep his commandments.
Evangelism is the way to bring people to know Christ. The initial objective of Jesus’ plan was to enlist men who could bear witness to his life and carry on his work after he returned to his father. “here we see how much Jesus depends on us to carry out his work. The number of Christians in Africa, Asia, and the Americas are on the rise.” When non Christians look at Christian leadrs, they will sometimes point a finger at the leader, ready to judge or reject the leader. Because of church planting, evangelism, and reproduction, the world has more Christians. Do you believe Christ died for us? Do you think Christ deserves our trust? Do you think we should spend our whole life following Christ? According to the Spiritual Leadership book, “Leadership comes with a cost.” As a leader, you will pay the price. It is not an easy task to be a leader, you will face many challenges and often feel alone.
As a Christian leader, you would have to carry your own cross at some point in time. “I die everyday” Paul declared. As Christians, I cannot promise a peaceful journey because the road ahead of us is rough, but still we shall rise, because the love of our Lord dwells in us and manifests in our souls.
