Recommended: The history of the film industry

Entertainment in cinema Does the motion picture industry still create films that keep us entertained and coming back for more? Personally, yes they can! I mean with everything that Hollywood and even independent film- makers can create from almost nothing but a storyboard, a camera, and a system for editing. They can still create some amazing pieces of. Dare I say art? But it wasn't always that easy as the professionals make it seem to be. Or even that good back then. When motion pictures were first being created.
For example the history of film is quite unique, something that has stood the test of time. For better or worse. Perhaps analyzing the history would tell us how people nearly one hundred years ago kept themselves entertained and …show more content…

With that innumerable silent films were created like “ The Great Train Robbery” and “The Great Gatsby” which on a side note, the original copy of that film doesn't exist. However at the time these were rising masterpieces and the next best thing in entertainment. Then the 1920s happened. It was a time for the industry to flourish and grow as a business and the birthplace of Hollywood as a national land mark as well as where all the stars are! I mean even back then the name “Hollywood” brought the thoughts of luxury, leisure, and the promise of an easy life to your mind, as much as it does today! Hollywood's film industry created a new life style for the laborious and those willing to show integrity in this exciting new business. Now that the technology of the time was producing as many as eight hundred a year they started to become complex as the years went on. Like safari hunts, Egyptian rulers, Gothic kingdoms or just movies that complimented the times with large extravagant parties or musicals with lots of jazz! Hollywood needed a type of headquarters.
