The Management Style of Google’s CEO Larry Page Management Style According to research, Larry has a democratic leadership style. In Andrew Lord’s article on Huffington Post, “Treating workers well has shown to be good for companies ' profits.” (Lord 2015). This is one of the rewards of management because you and your employees can experience a sense of accomplishment. Page has shown to have the ability to motivate and engage others. That is why his company is successful. “Google 's Larry Page is the highest-rated CEO in the United States, according to career review website Glassdoor.” (Lord 2015) The website Glassdoor is a website where employees anonymously review their CEO. They give their feedback on the leadership of the CEO, along with Google is rated number three in the “25 Best Corporate Cultures of 2014” on the Business Insider website. The employees receive free food and a main campus that rivals a world class resort. (Business Insider 2014) Page’s goal as a leader is to “make sure everybody in the company has great opportunities, and that they feel they’re having a meaningful impact and are contributing to the good of society.” (Fortune 2012) He believes that his company should be treated as family and have a close relationship with each other to “figure out the best things they can do for them.” (Fortune 2012) From the interview, Page cares about the health and wellbeing about his employees. He says, “our people have also been a lot happier and more productive.” (Fortune 2012) They make sure that there is healthy food for their employees, doctors on site and more convenient health care. According to Glassdoor (website where employees anonymously review the company they work for), one employee says, "The culture is amazing too. Each employee does not mind helping the other out if they are stuck.
