Good Hair is a documentary made and narrated by Chris Rock. Chris Rock decided to inform and educate the world, and anyone who purchased, or is willing to purchase perms or weaves. He wanted to inform this group of people because his daughter, who was four or five at the time, asked him why she didn't have "good hair." Rock's purpose was to educate African American women on the dangers and consequences of weaves and relaxed hair. Even though some people know the effects of perms and relaxers, they continue to buy it in order to have a “good hair”. Women and men know that the chemicals are unhealthy for their hair and it could cause a serious damage to the hair. Rock is trying to tell women that they were beautiful just the way they were.They
