Globalization has not only greatly improved, but it has had a positive impact on the United States economy. Globalization has spread American influence all around the world. More markets have been opened up causing more trade and businesses to boost the economy. Globalization gives many companies the opportunity to sell much more than they would have in just one country. This is why when we go to stores we often see product labels with marks or stamps from the country they came from. Not only does this benefit us in the long run, but it also gives us a variety of products, goods, and services to choose from. Cheaper prices allow for the standard of living to increase. Globalization has given the united states great dominance and power for our economy. It has been shown to be a great advantage in the united states financial market compared to other economies, which have to buy, sell, and transact business with the U.S dollar. The U.S dollar as the world’s currency has led to substantial negotiation and trade power for U.S corporations, which then cause more and more corporations. Trade negotiations and other relationships were created based on the U.S dollar through collaborations by force and/or threat. This led to more buying power and value for the American dollar and made the value of other countries’ currencies decrease. This then resulted in poverty for many countries besides the united states of America. Globalization has also led to different cultures and races be introduced to America. Our country has a variety of many businesses that have been created from other cultures other than America.
