Globalization has influenced the increase of income and wealthy inequality in the United States by allowing goods and services to flow easily in and out of many countries. In some cases the poor third world countries are sought out to build large factories because these people desire to gain income while these big companies are gaining a bigger income by employing those who desire work and money. In those countries who with the owners of the companies create an inequality of wealth because the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The owners of those big companies are saving money on the manufacturing of their products and still charge the same price which means their profits increase dramatically.

The big companies are always trying to find a way to boost their income. An example that comes to mind for me is the price of the EpiPen. The CEO of the company just got greedy and wanted more, so the people who need and depend on it have no other choice but to pay the higher price. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer because in some cases there are families making the choice between the EpiPen and feeding their families. While it only cost a few dollars to manufacture then they are pricing them at such an extreme price because they can.

Globalization has created a rat race where people always want more than they have and are never happy with what they have and they are always trying to keep up with others in society. Bigger and better isn’t always the answer but this is what globalization has done when it influences and impacts the wealth inequalities. This is a generalization and there isn’t to say that there are people in society who are very happy with their income and wealth but society takes all kinds of kinds of people to function.
