This article goes into depth on the theoretic motivation for Genesis 3:21. The first example was in the second creation story God only created man and then realized he needed a helper and then he created a woman with a rib from the man (2). It is saying that women were only really created to help and support men, also its implying that the man helped make the women so he gets control over her. In Genesis 3:16 God says to eve, “your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you,” she ate from the tree so he is punishing her (3). Women were just objects for the men to control, but then in the first creation story God created men and women equally (1). He created them together and to worship the land and populate it. So the two creation stories contradict each other because one the women are equal and in the other story they are completely separate. Although, this statement is accurate at times people sometimes do not realize that men and woman are treated as equals in certain situations. In the Genesis story by Phyllis Trible, She discusses how people often view the story of Adam and Eve as male supremacy and female subordination but she explains how that statement is false and that both Adam and Eve are treated as equals (Trible,141). Throughout, the article Trible provides the readers with examples and statement to how Adam and Eve share equal equality. An example of equality between the two sexes is when God creates Eve out of Adams' rib, “This, at last, is bone of bone and flesh of my flesh, She shall be called ‘ishshah because she was taken out of ‘ish” ( Trible,142). God created the woman out of the man's rib rather than his feet or head because she wanted them to be in equal carrell with each other. The rib symbolizes them being side by side in a partnership rather than one being more advantaged than the other. Also, but the man and woman owe both there lives solely to God, although, the female was made from a man the reasoning she was created in the first place was due to God (Trible,142). In our present era, there is no doubt that the evolution of women's rights has come a long way. It is in the Western Culture that these values for which women have fought for generations, are in conflict with Genesis 1-3. The events that occur in this "creation story" are crucial in that it begins when God creates man in his own likeness and man is given domination over all living things. Of these creation stories two with similar and also different characteristics is the Creation story in the book of Genesis which is a part of the 1st Testament in the Hebrew Bible and explains the creation of Earth and humans, and the Theogony which is the greek creation story that describes the origins of the Earth and the Greek Gods. Both the Theogony and the Creation in Genesis show nature as a blessing for humans but it can also affect them negatively, However the myths differ in the ways that the Earth and humans were created and how humans interact with the deities of the creation stories.

In the Hebrew text, the burden of the fall is the responsibility of the first human being, meaning Adam, who alone hears God’s divine rule. If we blame Eve alone it can alter the way we understand Genesis 3:6 and how we form our ideas about what the Bible says about women. One of my biggest arguments for not blaming Eve alone is the phrase ‘akal and how the tenses it is used in, in the Hebrew texts shows how many people are where. This helps the reader see who God was talking to in Genesis 2 and helps us see that more people are present that just Eve when she and the serpent are talking in Genesis 3. Parker states why it is so important to translate the text fully and accurately, “Translators should beware of imposing androcentric biases and should guard against linguistic choices that skew the text against women.” The loss of one word may seem meaningless when it is translated into another language such as English, but the removal of any word can drastically change the message the story is trying to tell, which is what we see in Genesis
The relationship between God and his creations humans can be said to be a very complex relationship. Genesis shows us many examples of God's interaction with humans and human's interaction with each other. From the creation of Adam and Eve and all the events that follow afterwards, I shall show what the relationship tells us about the nature of God and mankind.
The root of all gender issues which presently exist in society may be traced back to The Creation Story in Genesis. This crucial chapter of the Bible provides evidence supporting that God intended for man and woman to exist as equals, yet he assigned gender roles once Adam and Eve disobeyed him by eating the fruit from the forbidden tree of good and evil. Thus, men have been characterized as the “breadwinners” and women as “child bearers and housekeepers” since the beginning of humanity. The story of Lilith as Adam’s supposed first wife suggests Adam took on a patriarchal role from the beginning, yet Lilith refused to accept his assumed superiority. She initially challenges him, and then leaves him; she represents a rebellious, yet independent woman. Although these two stories on the first man and woman are significantly different, the two convey that men and women have been trapped in certain roles since the beginning of time, and have always had a power struggle between them. Gender issues have not evolved over time; they have always existed.
As one would say, there is always a reason for all creations and Genesis makes that saying very true. I believed that our parents are the ones who gave us life, but that is completely wrong because God is the one who made us when he “…created man in his image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them” (The New American Bible, Gen. 1.27). With that being said, Genesis clearly explains the reason for why there are specific gender roles for both man and woman that has been accepted in society for years in every culture. God gave women the role of a fulfilling the roles of a mother by giving her “…the pangs of…childbearing; in pain shall you bring forth children” (The New American Bible, Gen. 1.16). Similarly, God made man as “The man [who gives] names to all the cattle, all the birds of the air, and all the wild animals…” (The New American Bible, Gen. 1.20). Before I read the book of Genesis, I thought specific gender roles were made by individuals in society, but now I found to be that there is evidence to the origins of gender roles which happens to be in the book of Genesis. Therefore, Genesis is more than the tale of God’s creation because it marks the beginning of all existence in all
