At the beginning of the bible God is the creator of everything. God created a man he named Adam and God, then created Women out of Adam’s rib, Adam named Woman Eve. God said “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman’, for she was taken out of a man.”Genesis 2: 23. God had given Adam and Eve the garden of Eden in which they could eat anything except for the forbidden tree of apples. The Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” Genesis 2:16-17. The native Americans should not bring harm to the tree’s roots since it was the only source of nurture that they had and touching it could bring harm to the tree.
