The cold air brisked my face bringing me back to reality, where was I? The last I remembered I was next to my brothers, my partners, my family and now I was here standing in a dense forest area. I spun around trying to pinpoint my destination, but it was all dark green trees. Another breeze of air brought me back to the roots of the situation and to say the least it was chilling. Transportation or something had to be used, I'm not all that well with figuring these kinds of scientific phenomenons out, that's what Kowalski was for.

They were small about the size of hyena’s but they were so many of them, dozens upon dozens growling and snarling. They almost seemed to be figureless but once in the slight light of the fire they had spiked hair on their back with large claws and teeth shown very widely. I looked back to see one approaching but stopping once seeing the fire, going around the loop of the lights surrounding the fire That gave me an idea. I strung my bow around my shoulder once again running over and grabbing a stick containing the fire and waving it around the odd creatures taking a step back at they barked and growled. I stepped forward a group of them backing away. What I didn’t expect was one from behind quickly nipping grabbing onto my arm holding the fire. Once my arm was pulled down the fire faced him and he let go. I let out a small hiss holding the now bleeding arm. Blood and hanging skin were covered by my jacket as I felt the warm burning of my arm as it shook. But it would have to wait. I swung around the fire making sure I was always circling, facing them. My breath was shaky and nervous, making Eliza even more nervous as she dug her fingernails into my leg. I wasn’t sure what to do. They kept coming as I waved the fire in their faces. They would back up nervously. It was an endless cycle. I looked back to the fire approaching it and holding another stick, this time a few collapsing with it’s absence I winced as a few falling sticks burned my hand as I retracted, but I grabbed another stick free of fire and waved it around the others growling and hissing as they backed away. I threw over the stick the fire catching a bit of the grass on fire as the creatures back away once again. I continued throwing fire filled sticks until we got a decent way, away from the creatures. It stopped when they all lost interest looking at the one side in the same direction towards the top of the
