Family is not always about sharing the same gene, but rather than the people who want to be part of your life. Remember the Titans, is a truly inspirational film where young football players learn to get along as brothers and manage to overcome any obstacle headed their way, they began to set an example to their peers about the true brotherhood bond. Herman Boone (Denzel Washington), a black race coach, has just moved from North Carolina to Virginia. He was offered a job opportunity at T.C. Williams high school, and was there to replace Bill Yoast (Will Patton). Coach Yoast decided to leave, but later stayed when during a meeting with his football players, they threatened to boycott T.C Williams and not attend school. Hence, coach Yoast agreed to stay and be part of the football team as assistant coach. Although, the players were not satisfied that they will be playing with team members of another race, however the pride and racism was over dominated by the bond of the brother hood.
