Initial Observations I approached the beaten path as I made my way I noted all of the different stones. They all appeared to be sort of pushed to the side to make way for some travelers. After approximately twenty-five more yards of walking and making my way past all the trees, the realization had struck me where they were going. Perfectly placed in the center of this oval yard was a medium sized superstructure. Underneath the superstructure were two very rundown tables, rust had completely consumed their legs. The table tops appeared to be made from a different material, unlike the legs the top had not been even scathed by rust. Worn benches had also been placed between the lines dividing the rectangle down the center. Each side had the same structure on either end. They had a faded white board that had been smartly placed against the metallic pole. Attached to that board jutting out was a rusted, circular shaped object. Every last one of the nuts and bolts holding this moon shaped piece of metal were also consumed by rust and decay. The rope material dangling from below it, also had been frayed, time had taken its long hard toll on this equipment. Off in the distance I could see something that appeared to have been smashed by something large. The rubbery substance that made up the texture actually felt more delicate after grasping it. I took my hand and squeezed on either side of it I could hear the slightest amount of air escaping the small black pin hole. The circular shape of this object and that of the other attached to the white board appeared to coincide with each other. The object of this possible sport seemed to be putting that object through the rusted circular counterpart. The sheer size of the green hardtop surface made me wonder how many people could play at one time. The lines on either side of the court must have been a point system based on the difficulty of the shot. My other fast deduction was that the people who played here did not bother to care for the area. Trash was scattered even more so than superstructure with the
