Extroversion Extroversion is usually evident from early childhood to the day we die. Extroversion is related to the comfort levels of people when they are involved in relationships with others. There are two groups known as extroverts and introverts. Introverts are often referred to as reserved individuals who enjoy their own company and keep to themselves whereas extroverts tend to outwardly express their feelings and thrive in a social environment. Introverts tend to be quiet and avoid taking part in social situations, usually preferring to observe from afar rather than engage with others. They find it difficult to work in large group settings as it inhibits their ability to make an effective contribution. Introverts don’t feel the urge to socially engage with others which is not necessarily as a consequence of being shy but rather a satisfaction with being a companionless figure. Introverts are not an impulsive type of person which makes them likely candidates for missing out on potentially worthwhile opportunities. This in a sense shows that introverts are perfectionists and are very calculated in their approach. They like to plan and have a structure in place in order to achieve their goals. Introverts are also inclined to internally examine their own performance levels and are widely considered to have better job attendance records compared to extroverts as a result of their highly committed attitude. Extroverts are sociable people that often get agitated when they are inhibited socially. They continuously seek out excitement in their lives and are unfazed by standing out from the crowd. They are ideal candidates for leadership roles in companies due to their social skills and ability to take charge and engage with others.... ... middle of paper ... ...imes these intelligent and highly driven individuals are regarded as boring due to their persistently hard working nature. They are willing to work extremely hard in order to accomplish their goals. They possess all the traits necessary to run a business or become a successful entrepreneur. People who rate low on conscientiousness, also known as unconscientious people are often regarded as unreliable and disorganised individuals with a lack of determination to achieve. They often come across as laid back in their approach and become easily distracted when it comes to performing a task. They usually lack the ability to follow procedure, possibly due to their lack of motivation and their inclination towards being a reactive rather than a proactive type of person. They are more suited to a highly structured work environment in order to avoid exposing weaknesses.
