“The Minister’s Black Veil” The darkness If you saw someone that was important to your community or even know someone that you're close to wearing a black veil everywhere what would you think about that? Would you be scared or even curious and wonder why he is wearing a black veil? If I have seen someone close to me, I would believe something bad is going to happen or that person is sad because they have lost someone. In the story black Minister's black veil Mr. Hooper was the one wearing the black veil and of course a lot of people were asking questions and talking each other against one another about Mr. Hopper. Romantic in this story is to elevate the imagination over multiple reasons. It’s also basically stretching out facts to tell the truth. So always remember when you hear the word romantic it’s not meaning what everyone believes it is. Romanticism is very known to be in this story. In the story Mr. Hopper shows romantic from the beginning if the story to the end of the story. While you're reading the story you start to noticed many facts and details that are stretched out throughout the story. For example in the book when he takes his last breath to make that nobody had taken the veil off his face. That line basically had meant that under that veil that he was already dead, he had been buried a while from all the sins that he had made.
