The character I have chosen from the movie would be Everett K. Ross otherwise known as a loyal ally to T’Challa (Black Panther). In this movie, he plays the role as a CIA operative and a former air force pilot. He is known as one of the main characters from the movie. I felt connected to him because in a scene of the movie he helped T’Challa’s sister (Shuri), mother (Ramonda) and, his ex-girlfriend (Nakia) after the fight of the throne with T’Challa and Erik Killmonger to go seek advice to M’Baku. This connected to me, a real-life example would be helping others with work. To add on, another reason I feel connected is in one of the scenes in the movie after the fight of the throne T’Challa family went to go seek advice from …show more content…
Ross has that inspires me is how he is selfless, in this movie there was a scene when Ulysses Klaue was in custody of T’Challa but all of a sudden Erik Killmonger was trying to get Ulysses Klaue out of there. So Erik Killmonger used a special device to break into the room. He shot in Nakia direction, but Everett jumped in front Nakia and the bullet went through Everett, this is how one of Everett character traits is selfless. I try my best to not think only about myself and to think about others, for example, I like to think about how others feel and how it might impact them. One other character trait that Everett has is being able to cooperate. He cooperates very well because in one of the scenes from the movie Everett tells Shuri after he has woken up from the healing of vibranium when Okoye was warning Shuri about an “outsider” who claimed he had killed Ulysses Klaue. A picture popped up with Erik Killmonger, Everett recognized him. Everett told T’Challa about Killmonger background. This is how he cooperates very well. I can connect with this trait because I like cooperating with other people, for example, if I was in a group I would try to get along with everyone. The last trait I am listing is being helpful because in one of the scenes in the movie he was navigating in a Wakandan fight craft to help stop Erik Killmonger transporting “Wakandan weapons” to the world. These are the character traits from Everett that inspired me,
In the book The seventh most important thing by:Shelley Pearsall Arthur Owens distributes multiple character traits but only two really stood out to me. Based on what he did most people probably think that he is a crazy kid that always gets into trouble, but not in my opinion. One of the Character traits that stands out to me most is that he is very caring when it comes to his mom and Barbra, an example for that is when he heard his mom crying down stairs he ran down there to check and see if she was ok. That shows that he is caring because he was trying to be there for her, if he wasn't caring he wouldn't have ran down there to see what was wrong. Another Character trait I noticed was that he was pretty kind, he went out of his way to give
I chose the character Uncle Willie from the book Maya Angelou. The reason why I chose this character was that he was one of those people that are really nice but always changed in order to fit in. In the book he was the uncle of Maya Angelou, when he was a child he became crippled. He had a stutter in his voice and he always leaned forward. When he sat his back made a, “Z” shape.
Connection: I felt I sense of connection to Tori Murden McClure because we are both
Literary villains are all around us. For instance, Voldemort from Harry Potter and Darth Vader from Star Wars. What makes a villain? They will go through anyone or damage anything to reach their goal. No matter how small or how tall they are, anyone can be a villain. One of the worst literary villains is Erik Fisher from Tangerine, written by Edward Bloor. He is a liar and a thief. Those traits are what makes the best villains. Throughout the book, Erik shows that he is a villain through his vile and offensive behavior, his need for power, and his insanity.
In the book Copper Sun the author introduces you to many different characters. One of the main characters in Amari. Amari isn't just a character to me, she is someone I feel I can connect with. Amari goes on a tough journey with many other slaves, she finds hardships on the journey to Sullivan’s island. I feel like I connected the most with Amari even though she is a girl.
connection that most people have, and that is because he is relishing the power of

3. A text to self connection I made is how me and Ali both go to church. This is a connection because he was talk to noodles as he was leaving the church about the party. To be more specific Momo's party's. This is when they got invited to the party. A text to world connection I made is the majority of people in the ghetto are black in the book and real life. This is a connection because almost everyone described in the book was black.
Atticus is an incredible character in the book To Kill A Mockingbird. He displays three qualities that make him an incredible character. Atticus is determined. This is evident in the trial when he tries very hard to win for Tom Robinson and when he wants to take the case for an appeal. Atticus is also kind. We witness Atticus’ kindness in the way he acts and treats everyone in Maycomb. Atticus treats everyone with respect even if they don’t deserve it. Lastly, Atticus is patient. The author shows this through the way he treats Jem and Scout and everyone else in Maycomb. This essay will show that Atticus possesses the three qualities just mentioned. This essay will also show how the events and examples just mentioned show unique qualities.
Most fans that read a biography of John Hughes will find that he was a self-described quiet kid, a quality that many of his protagonists share. At the same time, he also has many extroverted and outgoing characters. The mix of personality types may have contributed to the broad appeal of John Hughes films, and they both may have represented dual sides of John Hughes's personality.
Throughout the book I felt connected to one character, that character was George. George and I share similar qualities and our lifestyles can relate. One major characteristic I found in George is his ability to take the initiative in whatever he is doing, therefore showing his sense of leadership qualities. This caught my eye automatically since I am the type of person to stand up and demonstrate my leadership to others. I feel that my leadership quality is very important to who I am. It defines me as being me.
character, and a lot of the background he creates about Mr. Casy shows just how
I am considered to be most like the fictional character Dr. Spencer Reid on the CBS crime drama “Criminal Minds.” Although I am not a genius, possess several doctorates, and can read 20,000 words per minute, I can be described as having a mind similar to his. I do, however, possess a personality similar to his, mainly because of our tendency to be friendly, but at times socially awkward. Though, what makes me most like this character is our passion for doing something that we love to do, whether it be learning or crime solving. Therefore, Dr. Spencer Reid and I are alike through our intelligence, personality, and passion for
I mostly identify with the main character kit. I mostly identify with her because she likes to try new things and I like to try new things also. I also identify with her because she likes to explore new places, for instan...
A connection allows you to see beyond what physical characteristics will show. It allows you to see deep within someone, and you feel a certain feeling, an indescribable feeling that is somewhat beautiful, yet somewhat unexplainable. In this article “The Dark Priest of Taos” the protagonist, whom we do not know much about, experiences a deep connection to an odd creature. Upon its finding, the main character works to help it, and save this creature that seems to have washed up on the shore. Throughout the course of the excerpt, you find that they often think back to this creature, the octopus, and often thinks back to the occurrence itself; this demonstrating that the connection made between the character and the octopus was deep and unexplainably
