Most people love animals. They can take a trip go to the zoo to look at various animals that come from many different parts of the world. Depending on the zoo you go to, you can find lions, monkeys, exotic birds, penguins and etc. A goldfish is usually recommended as a great first pet for a child that is looking for responsibility, because they are low maintenance and their life expectancy is short. An amusement park like SeaWorld, has whales, sea lions, penguins and many other water mammals at their parks for our entertainment. Despite if the animal is at a zoo, in a bowl, or an amusement park; it is being held in captivity. Is it safe keeping a wild animal in captivity? According to WorldWildlife.org (WWF), their goal is to save wildlife from extinction. Currently humans are near the current rate of species moving close to extinction, which is something nature was not expecting any time soon (worldwildlife.org, 2015). “WWF’s 2014 Living Planet Report found wildlife populations of vertebrate species—mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish—have declined by 52 percent over the last 40 years (worldwildlife.org, 2015).” What WWF is doing is using research and technology to conserve at risk species and recover their populations to reduce the risk of extinction (worldwildlife.org, …show more content…

This will also give the stakeholders a chance to ask transparent questions and receive objective and transparent answers on specific topics. So instead of going into the negotiation trying to be the one and only winner, everyone will be going into the negotiation with a solution for the problem. This will help with the start of the negotiation having clear communication, perception, and leveled emotion. Also, having the stakeholders come up with solutions is giving everyone the chance to develop options. Developing options may help with coming up with a mutual gain, which is something we want to see in the negotiation. There will also be a mediator at each meeting and at the negotiation. The mediator is there to assist with bringing the issue that is at hand back into focus incase if the discussion becomes heated. Having the location being neutral will keep everyone’s mind focused on the issue. Stakeholders would feel defensive or pressured if the meetings and negotiation were to take place at a setting that belonged to one of the stakeholders.
