The definition of being an American. That’s what’s being asked. My definition anyways. There will likely be a lot of run on but I don’t really care. Do note this is coming from a 16 year old boy in high school who is failing 4 classes and isn’t motivated enough to do anything about it, so taking time to do this is surprising to me. Anyways I’ll try my best to do three points of being American but it probably won’t happen. It’s always a pleasure to waste time. The first and most obvious thing about being an American is patriotism. Patriotic Americans are all about their country and will do just about anything to protect its glory. Patriotic music is made all the time, “Murica! f%#k yeah!” being one of them and one of my favorites. Thats besides the point. People often dub most white American forms music as “country music.” Anyways being patriotic is not one of my own strong-suits but I do like being in America. A reason why is because I have rights. Americans LOVE food, especially meat. A lot of cities and towns even throw celebrations that encompass food in them. Like American Independence day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Small side note, Americans sure call throw a party. Besides large parties and celebrations, I myself am an avid eater and enjoy all types of food, even though I may have some health problems to accompany them. Having all types of good food everywhere around you is American and patriotic in itself. In America we are entitled to have freedom of choice in what we eat. We can go to supermarkets and pick out our own selection of food. Store are often full of amazingly healthy and unhealthy food alike. From fresh fruit and veggies to nice beef, pork, and seafood, to delicious treats of chocolate. In short we have freedom to eat what we want when we
