The ground shook uncontrollably as the spawn of Satan himself approached my trembling body. It had been almost six hours since we had last crossed paths but it had felt like two to me. The atmosphere in the corridor had suddenly changed to that of a cemetery, and even though it was filled to the brim with high school students who were intrigued by what was going on, it still felt as if it was just me and him. I stood dead-still in the middle of the rush-hour traffic, and watched as he rambled carelessly towards me. My heart, now racing as fast as an Olympic sprinter, felt as if it was going to burst into a million pieces. I knew what the future held for me, and it was something familiar and extremely unpleasant, it was the bully. On our first breath-taking encounter of the day, he approached me with a devilish look in his brown eyes. He began his extreme torment by using harsh words that drove straight into my heart like a dagger.
