Humans have not detected or contacted with any extraterrestrial life. There have been various attempts made by humans to search for extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI). The tasks to Search for ETI (SETI) and sending Messages to ETI (METI) are in their primary phases. This would be a momentous achievement in the history of humanity (Dvorsky, 2013). There are many factors that need to be viewed in order to associate with ETI. These include the benefits and harm to humanity and the language used in the communication. Some astronomers believe that the ETI would sit and have a friendly and civilised communication with the humans. However, there are other astronomers and experts who believe that the ETI can possibly kill, infect, dissect, conquer, displace or enslave human beings. Alternative assumptions are that ETI will captivate and use humans as specimens for their museums or use our bodies for their medical research (Diamond, 1999). Several optimistic people like Sir Martin Ryle and Carl Sagan have also shown concern about an alien invasion. These concerns occur due to the assumption that the ETI will be technologically advanced than humans. If we are not used for medical purposes, they could captivate us for entertainment purposes. The ETI can find humans amusing with some relatively extraordinary talent and capture humans like humans did to sea lions and seals and other animals which are able to balance balls on their nose (Shklovskii, 1966).
