Most notes have reverb on them to give a transient to the sound to make it sound wet and full. Dubsteps timbre is usually dark, with wobble sounds almost always played in minor scales create a much darker and strong emotional feeling, yet dubstep has a really cool vibe to it although it is played in minor scales. Trap usually consists with vocal samples throughout the intro and then coming through during the drop to keep things interesting. Trap is relatively the same as dubstep considering the kick is on the first beat (1⁄4) of every bar and the snare is on the third beat of every bar (3⁄4). Like dubstep, traps harmony usually consists of one key throughout the track but can also be played in the original key following the scale. Trap also has pitch bends on the synths to give variation and has a heavy use of delay on most sounds. In my opinion trap has more of an atmosphere to is as it doesn't sound as full as dubstep therefore that atmosphere makes up for it to create the illusion that there is a lot going on at once.
