With right and wrong themes in the literature, the one theme that really stood out was “the dreams are the central of The Alchemist actions as well as its meaning”. The conflicts of the story are significant to the main character. Starting off with some of the small conflicts such as losing a sheep from the flock causing temporarily depression. Also when he crossed with an elder that wanted to have a conversation, but ended up being the king of Salem and knowing his future.as time passed he still didn’t have a job, money, or a wife which made him more depressed. With obstacles in there way such as guards blocking their way into a war zone made them go a longer path but still managed to walk half a day. They ended up meeting two Egyptians that help them navigate to reach the pyramids through their quest, the alchemist help the boy learn to hear the voice of the wind. Even though he failed multiple times he managed to hear the voice on his last attempt. He was really appreciative of the alchemist and thanked him for teaching him something new ,but with the alchemist humble attitude he said that he help the boy know what he already knew.
