Constellations have helped many people for many years. Draco the Dragon is by far the coolest constellation in the sky. The things that make draco the dragon interesting is the facts and myths. Ptoloemy first charted the constellation during the second century. According to christian mythology, draco the dragon was first known to have tempted Eve at the garden of Eden. The constellation I have chosen is Ursa Major, specifically the Big Dipper within it. Ironically, Ursa Major is my favorite because of one of its many creation stories. Ursa Major is also known as the Great Bear, and lies in the northern hemisphere. It was one of the 88 constellations first recognized by the International Astronomical Union. It is also the third largest constellation in the sky. I recognize that the Big Dipper is not a constellation, this creation story is too good to pass up sharing. I love sharing it whenever I am camping with friends and the sky is clear enough to see it. This story is of Native American orgiin.
He emphasizes the relationship between Draco and Lorq Von Ray because really they are very similar in that these people, or rather these classes have power over a class, and as such the lines become blurred as to who is just and right, and who is evil and villainous. This is evident, especially at the end of the novel Lorq Von Ray has no regrets about retrieving the Illyrion and says "I have struck down one-third the cosmos to raise up another and let one more go staggering; and I feel no sin on me" (Delaney 233). Measuring 28 degrees in length, it lies in the Northern Hemisphere and can be seen best in December around nine o’clock P.M. It can also be seen in the Southern Hemisphere during the summer from latitudes north of negative thirty-five degrees. Most people have not heard of Buckminster Fuller, let alone a Dymaxion house. Fuller is most widely known for his invention of the Geodesic dome structure that can be found in building around the world. Buckminster Fuller’s Dymaxion house, currently located at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn; is widely considered to be an underlooked gem of Fuller carrier. Dymaxion meaning “DY(dynamic), MAX (maximum), and ION (tension),” the word is also one of his creations (Baldwin). The Dymaxion house is a house made by Buckminster Fuller and Beech Aurcraft Corporation in 1945. Made of Aluminum, Steel, and Plastic. It measures 36 feet in diameter. It is currently on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, after being donated by the Graham family (Henry Ford).
Dragons are very popular mythical beings because they are capable of flying, swimming, and walking on land. This makes a Dragons attack much easier because he can exploit the weaknesses of his victims by using earth’s natural elements earth, air, fire, and water. Dragons have sharp teeth and a tongue shaped like an arrow. These creatures can breathe fire, but some cultures believed they spit ice or another venomous substance. All a dragons power is in its long, scaly tail.
First of all, the two heroes in the film are both strong followers of honourable rules of conduct. Bowen devotes himself to the knightly ideals, and Draco adheres to the dragon rules that require dragons to help people. As Einon’s mentor, Bowen’s goal is to train Einon so that Einon can be a greater king than the previous one. Draco’s dream is to change prince Einon’s evil heart into a nice one and to give the people a benevolent ruler, so Draco can get a place in the constellation “Draco”, the dragon heaven. The pursuit of moral principles and noble ideals are fully shown in the movie. For instance, when King Einon was young, Bowen taught Einon the “Old Code” for knights over and over again to help Einon sink the code deep inside his heart. When King Einon is enthroned, Bowen again reminds him of the “Old Code” to help him become a fair and just leader. After Einon turns out to be a ruthless ruler twelve years later, Bowen agrees to start an uprising against Einon in order to undo the wicked, and to observe the “Old Code”. The constellation that I chose is the Orion's Belt. I have chosen this constellation because of its orientation in the night sky. The myth behind the constellation is also intriguing to me. The Greek creation myth is one of my personal favorite. Orion's Belt is a group of three stars either vertically or horizontally aligned with each other. It usually disappears from the night sky when the Scorpion constellation appears.
