The professional path of Dr. Apj Abdul Kalam not only provided a significant contribution to the society but also functioned as an inspiration to the people of India. Despite this, the great achievements of his career path further presented the opportunity for him to get elected as a president through unanimous voting by the people. Dr. Apj Abdul Kalam and his great achievement for the republic of India is a reflection of virtue for the society. Abdul Kalam was elected as the eleventh president of India in 2002 whereby he served his term till 2007 ("A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Biography"). Before his presidency, Abdul was a scientist by profession and also functioned as an administrator in India. Abdul also had worked with the defense research and development organization and the Indian space research organization as an aerospace engineer before his presidential tenure (Tiwari). Despite this, he worked as the secretary of defense research and development organization whereby he served as the chief coordinator of the nuclear tests that were acknowledged as being successful ("A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Biography"). Thus, he was awarded Bharat Ratna in 1997, Padma Vibhushan in 1990 and Padma Bhusan in 1981 based on high valuable research in science and technology. The great achievement of Kalam cannot be solely outlined by the various awards presented to him but based on his capability to head different programs. The professor was presented with positions that called for high expectations, but he did not deter from performing successful projects.
