There are many great business leaders that both have lived and will live. There are many different types of business leaders out there both past and present as well as future. Each of these business men and women changed the world in small or big ways. Even after death this people live on through their creations. Many people have different views of what is considered “success”.

One of the first things we have learned about politics this semester is that there is a constant struggle over the true definition, especially in how broad or narrow the definition is. When Thomas Jefferson wrote that “Politics are such torment that I would advise everyone I love not to mix with them.” it is understood that he is referring to the electoral and governmental aspects of politics. If Dr. Michael Rivage-Seul and Leslie Cagan were to read this quote, they would argue that Jefferson has an extremely narrow view of politics and that if one were to desire a more accurate definition, they would have to look further than the restrictive culturally accepted definition. Martin Luther King, Jr. would also disagree with this definition but he I think he would have a bigger problem with the advice that Jefferson is giving. All three of the authors that we have looked at would, in one way or another, be forced to disagree with Jefferson based on the principles that they try to uphold and emphasize in their writings and speeches.
There have been several groups of successful businessmen throughout the modern era. They changed the way of understanding the finance, investments, and had a superb influence on the world population. Richard Dennis, Jim Rogers, or George Soros are just few examples of world famous and successful traders. However, none of these men have not accomplished, what Warren Buffett has. Excellent timing in investments, a dynamic personality, and great leadership skills make Warren Buffett a global leader in the business world.
It's interesting to read about the great leaders discussed in this book and that they are very different from what most people think. Many great leaders are quiet, shy, reserved, and modest. I had never heard of any of the good to great CEO's that Jim Collins talks about in this book. It's too bad they weren't more well known which might have influenced other CEO's to follow some of their methods and ideas to transform more companies to great.

Each religion believes in a higher being than any human. In the Catholic religion we believe in God. There are three divine persons in one being whom we perceive as God. We give God this recognition because He created all things including the covenant in which humans received their salvation. In the book On the Incarnation by Saint Athanasius many challenges of why God is the only God are confronted. It is justified that God is the one and only God through examples, parables and scripture. The covenant in which God came to the Earth in human form as Jesus Christ to bring salvation to all His people is known as the Incarnation and was unquestionably accomplished through Jesus Christ.
Let’s use Bill Gates, one of the great worldwide leaders, for this instance. As we all acknowledge, Bill Gates is always considered, without doubt, a successful man and one of the top ranking leaders. We as well know that Bill Gates, of course, was not a leader by birth, nor did any creator intentionally or accidentally bestow him the knowledge he possesses today, but rather by his acquirement of experience throughout his lifetime.
