Do curfews keep teens out of trouble or not?

Curfews have been an issue of debate in most major cities for a while now and I am in favor of teen’s curfew laws because curfew keep teens out of trouble. Curfew is a rule that everyone must stay at home between particular times, usually at night. No parent wants to see their kids coming home at 4 in the morning. Every parent must limit the time their child spent outside and should comes home within the allowable period and whether they were correlated in an event that could have a negative consequence. They get caught smoking and doing other things that are illegal and they get into trouble with the police. The curfew law is a very good law for teens because it keeps teens off the streets and away from any harm or crime that might happens at night like drug violence, gang violence, and even worse, sexual predators. Teenage curfews have been a widely debated topic throughout history. Parents curfews have been enforced to the distraught sense on a teenage. While curfews enforced by the government have become a larger issue due to the fact that some parents do not believe their child should have a curfew. That is a factor in the problem with society, but that is an argument for another day. It has been said that the curfew law does not cut down crime, and it actually increase the youth crime rate. I don't believe that helping teens keep off the street makes them want to commit crime, but the people who set rules and don't enforce them, allow the teens to have that advantage to do what they pleased and have no penalties is what make them want creating the crime. Curfew provide a time for teens to be home. Thus, keeping them out of the streets after hours. Most parents have curfews that are reasonable, but for those that do not have the ability to do so, a curfew provides safety for the children.
