This isn’t the 1980 anymore, kids days start earlier and end later. Shouldn’t the curfew reflect the time. They have a law that if you are driving or out after curfew it must be because you are going to or from work. Also, if you are going somewhere for your parents.Teens now a days have to get up earlier and have a lot more homework, and other things they have to do. Therefore, most of the free time they would have they don’t have anymore. Most parents think kids will get into more trouble the later they are out. Even though Spending too much time outside your house, and the bad behavior that happens late at night., I think we should have a longer curfew. because If curfew is longer on the weekends then we won't have to go hang out with our friends as much during the week. …show more content…

Teenagers should have a later curfew on the weekends because they spend more time doing other activities during the week. Teenagers get busy with sports or other activities therefore they don’t have as much free time to hang out with friends.This basically means the sports take up a lot of free time because they have practices most days of the week then have a game on the weekdays or even on the weekends. Some parents will disagree with the curfew law being changed but some of them will agree that sports and other activities take up a lot of their free time.They are wrong because they have don’t realize how much time kids put into their sports activities and other school activities therefore we take a lot of time outta our free time. Teenagers should be allowed to hang out longer on weekends. Due to the fact that they spend most of their free time doing sports or other school activities. Some people may argue that the curfew law is already too late, but if you ask the teenagers they will tell you that they don’t get enough free
