Recommended: Acceptance of diversity

The video I decide to watch was Disabled people and sexuality this consisted of about five people with disabilities most of whom were hand andycap and one who had a learning disability. Each had their own feels and sexual stories in relation to their own disability, and all had no real limitation other than wanting to have a relationship with another person. Watching this video I did have mostly positive thoughts though only one issue and it has to do with the visual aid of how these people are view in daily life. Though everything in this particular video was of very much positivity. In the video there is a man who is paraplegic and he out everyone had the most issues because again he could not feel any type of sensation below the waist, so for him getting an erection provided quite difficult. I felt that he out of every had a much more challenging time being about to come to terms with his sexuality because he was in accident that had caused him to become paraplegic. He tried to use medication to get an erection, but it did not work so he resulted to a specialist on getting sexually aroused and he found another way of getting sexual pleasure. Though not only for him others still do have challenges in confidence in their sexuality people mental disabilities do, also have sexual issues that I hope they are able to resolve like the young man in the video. They young man’s decided to order him an escort who had experience with men with similar issues as he does and he felt more of a man after being able to perform with a woman. The woman who had helped the young man made amazing point on how she is helping these men become confident and how she is one of few who take clients with disabilities.
