The first thing you always need to have before you go riding on a horse is to make sure you have your helmet, boots, and reflections vest on so if you are riding a horse at night then people who are driving can see you. You should always make sure you have your helmet on so if something like getting bucked off the horse happens you won’t mess up your brain. Say you don’t have a helmet you can go and buy one and try to help keep you safe if you don’t wear it while you are on the horse then you get bucked you could go to the hospital. One way I succeeded was by practicing. Everyday I would go to the hill in my neighborhood and practice. I would practice stopping, keeping my balance, and locking my ankles in place so my board wouldn’t shake. I would spend all evening after school riding down that hill and if it was the weekend, I would be outside all day! I brought my skateboard with me everywhere and I would practice on any hill I saw until my legs and feet hurt, I was determined to ride down that hill.
