Arthur Miller's’ The Crucible has been adapted into a film, and there are some major differences between the play and the movie. For example, in the play, Miller choose to skip over any explanations or descriptions of the court for supporting characters like Goody Osbourn. He decided to omit these completely, and the court outcomes were only mentioned briefly in later scenes. In the film, we saw glimpses of the court for most supporting characters, including both Goody Osburn and George Jacobs. This allows the audience to see the reactions of the people, and how simple it was to blame and convict people.
