More Flags, More Fun! Funky, foul, repulsive smell of must and sweat assault your nose, accompanied by a slight trace of sunscreen. In addition, beads of sweat start to form on your forehead as the sun beams down on you. However, none of that seems to matter as you anxiously wait in line to gain access to the greatest place on earth, Six Flags. Passing by the well-known six American Flags, sticking out from a stunning flower bed, you know your wait is finally over. Going through the turnstiles, the scorching, blistering metal burns your thighs and hands as you go through. Instead of the previous atrocious smells, you are now greeted with savory candy like fragrances. Sounds of uncontrollable fits of laughter, screaming and clinking metal fill the air. While looking up, you see a reflection pool filled with ultramarine colored water and rows of different types of flowers surrounding the perimeter. …show more content…

The Columbia Carousel, untouchable by time, a piece of American History. Looking closer at its magnificent structure you see 16 original oil paintings by George Gibson. With further observation, you can see its exquisite carved ornate chariots, horses, and animals. Children of all ages and even their grandparents, laughing, smiling ear to ear as the ride goes round and round. To the right of the Columbia Carousel, standing at an amazing 330 feet high, is the Sky Trek Tower. At the top of the indigo tower, there is a white aerial cabin rotating 8.5 stories in the air full of people. Parents look intrigued while the children have an expression of pure boredom while they hear the history about the park. Just below the Sky Trek Tower is a churro stand with a small variety of flavors. Children unable to control themselves try to wait in line as their parents have a firm grip on their arm to keep them
