If you ever wanted to know about McDonald’s Occult Dangers Division, ODD, and their secret quest to stamp out ghosts and hauntings to preserve profits, then look no further than Demon Freaks. J.R.R.R. (Jim) Hardison depicts several ordinary teenagers in various supernatural situations, jumping from one absurd scenario to another with abandon. Demon Freaks focuses heavily on brothers Ron and Bing Slaughter and their friends Meat and Kaitlyn who are unwilling sacrifices when calling a demon. But don’t worry, Kaitlyn is the know-it-all who always thinks something like this would happen. All four main characters are band members in high school who may soon be expelled for writing mean songs about their teacher. The only way they can continue on to college is with excellent SAT scores in the morning. They go to study and practice at Meat’s house when their least favorite teacher attacks. William Jeffrey Brom, or “Spit-Flecked Brommy” as the brothers call him, is a history teacher by day but his free time is far more interesting. When not tormenting or trying to expel Ron and Bing, Brom is a member of a secret occult society called the Servants of Darkness which is a fringe group of the Golfers. Soon Meat and Kaitlyn are kidnapped and only Ron and Bing can save their lives. …show more content…

He picks a group of people and makes them old, power hungry, and rude and never misses an opportunity to remind you that all golfers are evil. The only other people present in the clubhouse are the Caddies who one day hope to be invited to be Golfers and learn how to use their psychic abilities. The Caddies are less intelligent and often get lost or confused by the Golfers’
