Now that you know a little more about my topic, I will go back through all my ideas. I will use some sort of protective material to help prevent the egg from breaking. Once I find what will best protect the egg, I hope that stores will cover/wrap eggs in the protective surface. This will help prevent the eggs from breaking in the containers.
Glitter is used in today’s society in or on almost everything. Glitter can be purchased in a variety of sizes and colors. Glitter can be made from tiny pieces of glass, paper, plastic, minerals, polyester or even stone. The light reflecting off of these tiny pieces is what cause glitter to shine at different angles. Glitter can be used in crafts, clothing, makeup and nails, body and hair sprays, and even on food with an edible version.
The materials used for my project, include: a sweatshirt, twizzlers, and glue. I came up with the idea of gluing the twizzlers to the sweatshirt. When I first began this project, I did not count on being faced with any problems. I thought that I would just glue tiny pieces of cut up twizzler to the sweatshirt and that would be that. The first problem that I faced was: the candy would not stick to the sweatshirt. For whatever reason, the glue was not able to hold the twizzler pieces to the front of the sweatshirt. This definitely prolonged the gluing process. Once this problem had arisen, I went back to try to think of what I would be able to use to glue this candy to. I tried two different things. The first, a sheet. The problems with that was, that the sheet was so flimsy, that when I went to hold it up (like I was going to show it to someone), the candy pieces fell off. The second thing I attempted was a bath towel. The issue with that, was it was too thick. The pieces of candy stayed glued, but the end presentation was not something that I would have been proud to show to the class.

The diameter determines the size of the stitch and the length is important for the size of the project (McIntosh 43). McIntosh provides the example that you use a larger diameter needle for larger stitches and longer needles for large projects, like shawls (43). Furthermore, needles are available in three different styles and the style that you use is normally based on personal preference. The first two styles are very similar in that they have slender shafts intended to “hold the stitches that are not yet woven into the knitted fabric to prevent them from unraveling” (McIntosh 43). The only difference between these two is that the first, and most popular, style are pointed at one end and have knobs on the other, whereas the second are pointed on both ends. The third style of needles – known as circular knitting needles – have two pointed ends “connected by a flexible cord that holds the unworked stitches” (McIntosh 43).
