According to MacCullough (2012), knowing key worldview questions and biblical answers, a teacher is more prepared to integrate biblical worldview activities into their lessons. Moreover, this can be accomplished with ease in Christian schools by integrating the Bible and lessons from the Bible into the lessons being taught. For example, MacCullough (2012) talks about student processing activities and how one story opened up a whole discussion on God and how as humans we can talk to God and that He talks to us through the Bible. Additionally, Dr. Sam Smith talks about those in public schools and how they can integrate biblical principles. He affirms, “We believe you can integrate biblical principles in the public school best by living your life as a model of Jesus Christ and by doing what you do well” (Smith, 2012).

For example, I would suggest that they use ideas and scriptures that they learned in Bible study or in church within the past weeks of assignments. This will help to keep students engaged with the material and faith based concepts that they have learned within the weeks. Also, I think promoting attending CBU or church based activities for assignments can help students learn course material as well as grow in their faith. I believe that faith integration is an important component that CBU offers that many other universities do not.

Every preacher and teacher has a responsibility to bring a sermon that lines itself with the Holy Bible. Respect is a major theme in the New England Primer because children need to learn to respect everyone in their community, even their enemies. The Primer teaches the children to pray for their enemies which is a sign of respect. They also have to respect their parents, friends, God, men, elders, and superiors. Love is more of a hidden theme within The Primer because it is teaching children not just respect, but it teaches how to love people and treat them too. Also, The Primer is also teaching children how to love and embrace their religion, God, and Christ.
When pupils are allowed to practice prayer at school the way they are taught at home, they are able learn about others religions and become open minded. This notion of knowing and accommodating every person’s religion is imperative to our nation’s survival. It is said that all religions should be studied in school, and David Warren, the director of education in the Anti-Defamation League, said, “Every effort should be made to obtain accurate information about different religions” (2013, p. 3). What better way to learn about religions then to discuss classmate’s different religions in an open and supportive manner? You could have a different child lead the class each day in one of their religious exercises.

Spiritual: I think spiritual development determines and helps with how a child behaves during this stage. Depending on the type of spirituality and connection of a higher source, it helps to teach and distinguish between right and wrong. I believe this helps with the state of mind that many young children carry throughout this stage life. In the district where I am employed, the community is a big believer in God. In my class when we I have discussions on certain topics, the students always refer back to the bible or their believes.

Schultz also stressed the importance of a biblical worldview in the teacher. As the leader in each classroom the students will adapt their teacher’s beliefs, values and finally actions. If they are taught by a teacher who holds a dualistic view of dividing the sacred and the secular, or a postmodern or modern worldview, it will adversely affect the ability of that child to develop Christ centered wisdom based upon the Word of God. Schultz, in referring to the education of children, stated “anything that hinders their moral and spiritual development is the epitome of child abuse.” (2006, p. 163).
Thank you Father God. In Jesus name I pray these things, amen.” If you prayed this prayer, and you meant it, you are now a Christian. It is important that you get involved in a Bible believing Christian church where you can learn more and grow in your new life. You need the support of other believers – and they will help you learn and grow in your new found faith. Read your Bible, and spend time in prayer on a regular basis.
Parents are also considered spiritual teachers towards their children and how their identities are molded after years of being exposed to the religion. Discipline in the bible is also recognized for children’s behavior. One of the biggest things emphasized by Sisemore is a child honoring their father and mother. He also tries to have children incorporate children in their church. This could help the children understand what their position is in church and the importance of their religion (Lin 196).
