Suspense is when someone is anxious and does not know what will happen. For example if a character is hearing a strange sound and they don’t know what is going to happen, that makes the audience have suspense. Suspense is effective when the readers or audience is interested and hooked into the book/movie. For example if the audience is not interested or not hooked into the book/movie then it will not build suspense. The story,Cujo, is what I will be using to show effective suspense techniques. The story is about a mom and a boy who are trapped in a broken down car while being attacked by a rabid dog.
