I woke up to the smell of burnt bacon. I quickly jumped up from my bed, threw on my robe and ran down the stairs. I turned the corner, into the kitchen to face a frustrating look upon my fathers face."Are you okay?" I questioned. He looked my way but, didn't dare to speak. He only shook his head slightly. I turned on my heels and headed upstairs. Once I was in my room, I grabbed some clothes and headed towards the shower. After that, I thought it would be best if I caught up on some summer reading.There are only 3 more days left until school starts. I took off my jacket and gently placed it on the ground towards the middle of the field, pulled out my book and started reading. I kept hearing a noise. It sounded like a person walking but, I wasn't sure. I got up and walked further into the woods. The sound kept getting clearer so, I stopped walking and took in my surroundings. When I opened my eyes, there stood a boy a couple feet in front of me. He was just standing there. "Hello? Are you lost?" I asked. " No,I live around here. I-I was just walking through the woods." He stated so, peacefully. His voice is so beautiful, I just need to see his face. I walked closer with my head hanging low. "What's your name?" I asked. Oh god, I hope he doesn't think I'm a stalker. "Edward, and you?" "Lavendar." I walked even closer until I finally reached his physique, which may I add is quite the view. I smiled. He smiled in return. " How old are you?" I had to ask, I didn't want to be disappointed if he was older than he looked. "105."
