There are two studies which support conformity and one of the studies that support this concept is the Solomon Asch study conducted in 1951 to see if a social pressure from a group in the majority could affect someone to conform. Conformity or collectivism is the tendency to align attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors with those around you.
