Comparing The Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter-Day Saints to other religions is unfair, even "Gordon B. Hinckley, the current president and prophet of the Mormon church, says (in a booklet called What of the Mormons?) that he and his co-religionists 'are no closer to Protestantism than they are to Catholicism.'" (Distinctive Beliefs of the Mormon Church) Through unique differences, the Mormon Church has managed to establish itself and escape religious persecution, which they used to suffer, and become accepted in the world.
There are several differences between Catholicism and Mormonism. The Christian religion is circled around God, and his son, Jesus. Jesus was crucified to wash all of our sins away. Islam teaches that people who die disbelieving in the God do not receive salvation. It also teaches that non-Muslims who die believing in the God but disbelieving in his message (Islam), are left to His will. Those who die believing in the "One God" and his message "Islam" receive salvation.
In his ministry, he taught that he was the foretold Messiah of the Old Testament. While on the earth, he performed the Atonement, enabling all people to overcome their sins. For his teachings, he was crucified, but was resurrected on the third day. Christ is the basis of many churches, including the Mormon Church. Actually, “Mormon” is just a nickname for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The Bible says, “Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him” (Romans 6:9, NIV). This meant that our victory over death would also be secure, (Ephesians 2:6, NIV) “lifted us up from the grave into glory along with Christ, where we sit with him in the heavenly realms”. Lastly the Resurrection defeated God’s enemy. The devil worked throughout the entire time to see that Jesus would fail His father.

While some aspects of Mormonism is strict such not having caffeine other ethics are similar to Christianity. For instance, in Christianity and Mormonism the concepts are the same thus making Mormonism being considered as a part of Christianity.
Comparing Christianity and Islam Christianity and Islam are two of the fastest growing religions, and they both have a lot in common. In this essay I will explain their differences and similarities, their messages, how they treat their believers and other religions, their historical relationship, and other topics along these lines. I will start this essay by explaining Christianity, and many things about it. The word “Christianity” itself, means “Believer in Christ.” If you are a believer in this religion, you are called a “Christian”. There are many different denominations of this religion, and the things they share are the belief that the Bible is the Word of God, and that Jesus Christ was the savior sent by God through His love.
So, if you believe in your heart that what you are believing in is right than you will continue to do. That is the same idea that goes along with Methodist.
