Fahrenheit 451 Final Project People are their own worst enemy, we fight and kill each other for power and money. This has become such a common issue that it has even worked its way into literature. Examples of this can be found in many documents and writings in many different time periods. Some examples of these are: The Declaration of Independence, Civil Disobedience, and WALL-E. Throughout time, power struggles of conflicting ideas and individuals in the name of government has been a prominent issue in human society. An example of this in the Revolutionary writing is, when the American Colonies were being abused by England, they devised a plan to break away from their opressive government. Thus a power struggle was born. “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth…”. America is writing this document to break away from England and become their own government.
