The main example throughout the play is the character Abigail Williams and Elizabeth Proctor. Abigail is one of the main characters that is seen throughout the play as an antagonist. Elizabeth is introduced later as one of the main characters but as one of the victims in the play, These two contrast each other in their actions and personalities. In the play, the actions made by these ladies showed their personalities in the contrasting roles. A person’s actions can determine how other people view them. The actions made by Abigail made her be a ruthless and mean character. Abigail would use her power to get people in court
