The Way It Is Celebrities are fun to like, but obsession is another problem. I agree with Collin Palmer that celebrities are an escape from our boring lives. However I don't think it would be good to obsess over a celebrity. It may be that Palmer believed much of what King wrote, however, he disagrees by saying Celebrity obsession is an escape from our boring live. “This may escape us from reality but it wont directly help us on a daily basis. Although Collin Palmer is somewhat right he still need the evidence. Collin Palmer is stating that there is nothing bad about having an obsession on celebrities but I disagree with him. Collin Palmer states “ ...the internet is much easier to find out [ information ] about the celebrity…” ( 3) The quote is saying that the internet has a lot of ways to access people's private lives. Since we have internet these dayś it makes it easier to find out information on anybody you can look up a name and there phone number and they can find it especially celebrities. This quote is stating something stated on the internet false information can spread faster than anyone expects.When the media spreads rumors that can put a lot of pressure on that celebrity and they can either feel insecure or have anxiety. This may cause a disruption in the music or photography to the celebrity they might even end up quitting on them. When people comment a threat you may not know if they are being serious. The producer can or may tell the celebrity that it won't be safe to travel that can lead to the people making up more rumors. They may end up ruining the celebrities life if the celebrity doesn't tell them what really happen.
