Being in college, writers and directors make it seem so marvelous in the movies. With everybody singing and dancing, having a blast with their friends, going out every night, and living a stress free life. When in reality, it is like stepping onto a battlefield. You have to fight hard if you want to come back home safe and sound. When in college, students who believe they are smart and prepared survive. The students who are careless will fail, and some will merely cross the finish line missing a limb or two. It is important to know what category of students you fall into; your future depends on it. This would definitely be the ideal kind of student. They never show up late to class, nor do they ever miss class, unless it is a complete emergency. They are always prepared for any obstacles they might come across throughout the day. They are able to balance school and work. They always turn in their work on time, and if possible they will turn it in earlier than the deadline. They make sure they get to know all of their teachers, because communication is key. They make sure to put in 110% effort into everything they do. They also make sure that their work is always right, so of course, they will make sure to double check it before they turn it in. They make sure to show up a couple minutes early to class so they have a good seat to hear and see everything their professor is going to be doing. I have a really good friend whose sister Ashley attends CSU Stanislaus. It is her third year there, and she rents an apartment with a couple other good friends she has made along the way. She is also the manager of a Starbucks, and president of the sociology club at her school. I have talked to her a lot and she is always telling me I should do nothing best when it comes to school, because you only get one chance. She tells me to take good notes, and always pay attention in class (Rodriguez). She is constantly saying,” I always have to do things correctly the first time, there are no exceptions. It’s just how my parents raised me”
