The University of Stain Francis has been on my radar for a while now. One of my teachers graduated from there. She told me about the school and how good the art department was. I have been to the workshop twice in my high school career and just how I saw the teachers interact with students and help them whenever they needed in made me more interested in the university. The majors I would like to go into are Business and Photography. Photography has been my dream job since I was little. I got into photography because I love to catch my own perspective of how things look, not the beauty that others see or the uniqueness of something. You can remember something from your childhood and remember what it looks like, but taking someone there and they cannot see the exact thing you do or have the same memories that you have at the place. Photos change from person to person. That is why I love it and why it is what I want to go to school for. To some people business is more of a fall back but no matter what you major business can help any job. Business gives you more of an understanding of things and can help you if you want to create your own business or just help you when you get older. There are many things that a degree in business can help anyone when they get older, but having a degree in business for me will help if I want to create my own business and give me more education to understand more things for when I live on my own. I know that a business degree is helpful for almost any job and can help if anything happens and the job you had was lost. For Photography if you don’t work for a magazine or for someone you will have to create your own business to get started. Starting your own business in photography and it taking off depends on where you live and how passionate about the profession. Anyone can take photos but if the costumer cannot see the passion you put in their photo the business might not that off or last

I’ve always wondered how a single image could show a beautiful lie or a horrific truth of any picture taken. No picture can be considered obvious. My mind is always thinking about the many different perspectives that one picture can bring. That’s why I enjoy taking photos that captures the many mysteries of life. I would love to live life as a photographer.
It is encouraging to know that if you are dedicated to learning and willing to put forth the effort, you can accomplish amazing things. By no means do I wish to be a famous photographer, but I do have a desire to travel and share stories with those around me, and it is encouraging to know that I can still accomplish these things without being “educated” in that particular field.
In all seriousness, Carroll has everything I am looking for. As of right now, I plan to double major in biology and psychology and eventually minor in Spanish and photography. I know that sounds a little crazy, but it fits everything I want to do together. For the science side of me, Carroll has an accredited health science program and government funded research grants that a lot of other schools can’t compete with. Language minors are encouraged at Carroll, and because of that, a Spanish minor at Carroll would be beneficial. Carroll also has a graduate program in photography, not just art, which a lot of small schools don’t have. I cannot wait to dive into life at Carroll, and find out why Carroll fits you
When I first started looking for potential schools in which felt right for me I didn't exactly know where to start. The many other colleges that I researched didn't have a fashion program and if they did, it strictly was an art school in which i wasn't necessarily comfortable with. My idea for a dream college was a large campus that had enough programs for one to be flexible with and not have to worry if an original major choice didn't end up working out. However I came across some college information that stated that Drexel University has one of the best rankings for their design programs
My ultimate goal is to be able to get my Bachelor of Science in Business Management in order to help me grow my business and give me something to fall back on if my business is unsuccessful. I determined that a Bachelor of Science in Business Management would be great because every business wants to grow and they want to use any and all assets to increase their net gain. My understanding of this is largely because I am a small business owner myself. I believe that my background and my mentality will help me succeed in this degree. In the Marine Corps I spent about two years managing special operations training budgets.
Most people go to college to get a degree in whatever field they are most interested in. Going to college gives us a chance at a better life. Not only do we get a chance at a better life, but we also get to better ourselves as well. We’re able to pursue the career we like and want to do. Which, is better than doing something we hate for the rest of our lives. College provides us with the knowledge and skills needed for our specific job. Which, is obviously important but so are the electives because they teach us about other cultures, and diversity is important. We also get to learn more about the things that intrigue us most. We pick the job that we find interesting, so learning more about the job we’ll be pursuing is gratifying.
What led you into photography? Was it something you always been interested in or you stumble into it?

Traveling and seeing new cultures and capturing every moment of it. Photography has to do with creativity and the practice of taking and processing photos. I chose photography because it matched my personality and all of the things I wanted in a career. Photography is the best career choice based on the work environment, education and training, important qualities needed, salary, and job outlook.
To me, photography is capturing portrait of a memory, person or thing; It is a creative style of expression. I chose photography because you can get to know someone just from seeing what they shoot and how they shoot. Every position that I have in school activities have to do with photography. I started getting into photography back when I was in elementary school and I started off with disposable cameras.
The job of a photographer is a time consuming job. This job requires experience, the equipment, and the time. There are approximately 152,000 people in this career field. Photography is becoming more and more popular because it is a way to express themselves. Which is a good thing because it encourages people to go into the photography field. There are currently 54.3% who like being a self employed photographer.
Photojournalism plays a critical role in the way we capture and understand the reality of a particular moment in time. As a way of documenting history, the ability to create meaning through images contributes to a transparent media through exacting the truth of a moment. By capturing the surreal world and presenting it in a narrative that is relatable to its audience, allows the image to create a fair and accurate representation of reality.
Without a doubt, being a highly respected photographer would be my dream career. The type of job that wouldn 't feel like a job because it is one of my favorite hobbies. Growing up I always noticed how much longer I took to take a picture of someone than when they did the same for me. I soon realized that I actually had a passion for getting the right shot that I understood that not every pictures the same and that certain angles made others look better in places. The praise I received for taking a lot of these pictures motivated me. I liked that I hardly ever got told to take these pictures over and I loved that I was always the one chosen to take them time after time. Once I understood that I had this passion for photography I made sure a camera was the first thing on my Christmas list that year. I also knew that there was nothing but room for improvement, so i sought out private lessons which I worked and saved up for.
Why do we study Business? Many people study business because it offers so many career opportunities in general and plus everything that we deal in today society has to do with business. Think about the clothes, shoes, etc. you wearing today and then think of what business made it very possible for us to be wearing those merchandise and top of that it satisfied the sellers that’s buying the product this is called tangible and intangible good that provide satisfaction and benefits of its product. The of field business itself offer us a variety interest and challenges career opportunity throughout the world, such as marketing, managements, finance production and many more that you could think of, thinking about all those processes and people begin to understand about what business studies is all about. Business is a big major part of everyone life and anybody who has good idea how businesses work are at an immediate advantaged in the future. If you have some knowledge in business, it will help you to become a more conversant consumer and to market yourself well while looking for a job and also help generate profits that essential.
