All of my life I have lived in a very small town of under 700 people. My school holds students from pre-school to twelfth grade all in the same building. My graduating class is thirty- eight students with most of us being in the same classes since pre-school. I love my small hometown, but I’m ready for some place bigger than 700 people. The University of Wisconsin La Crosse gives me this opportunity by getting to meet new people around campus. It’s also exciting to me that in every class there are new people, and I’m ready for a challenge of going to a larger school with thousands of students not just hundreds. Since I am from such a small school, as a leader, I have been in many different activities and sports. When I go to college, I would like continue this in college. In such a small school, we are in as many activities that we can handle along with upper class and concurrent and PSEO courses. In college, I would love to be involved in intermural volleyball and basketball, since I played them in high school. I also would like to do fitness …show more content…

My academics come first, and I am very focused on my school work. UW La Crosse is a very competitive school in academics, and that makes me love the University even more. Academics is my thriving spot, and I enjoy being challenged in the classroom especially in math and science. I plan on majoring in accounting, and I enjoy being challenged in math classes especially. Being challenged is one of the main reasons that I take multiple college courses during high school online and in my high school. I look forward to all of the new classes that I can take through UW La Crosse like General Chemistry I (103) or Fundamental Physics I (103) in the new science building. I also look forward to classes that explore things like Dance Appreciation (104) or General Psychology
