We know that trees combat climate change by absorbing the CO2 produced by humans to release oxygen back into the air for humans (Top 22 Benefits of Trees). Shade from trees also conserve energy and save water by slowing down evaporation from lawns. We also know trees can provide food along with shelter for humans and animals. Medicines can be found from trees like my all-time favorite, the “weeping willow” it produces a milky sap and within that sap a substance called salicylic acid which is found in aspirin.
