Cinderella the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s version is a modern twist to the classic Cinderella love story. The new diverse, all-star cast gives this older fairytale a more upbeat pace. A new cast with musical styling of Brandy and Whitney Houston. Adding the comedy style of Oprah Winfrey, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander makes this classic really come to life. This version of Cinderella adds in a more home vibe but keeps the tradition of true love and self worth. This is a good movie for family night and for people of all ages. The prince was also there but he was disguised in normal clothes. Cinderella and the prince actually met each other when the horse almost runs Cinderella over and the prince helped her pick up the things she was carrying. The significance of that first meeting is also how he found her at the end of the movie. Throughout the movie you see Cinderella's pain of living there with the family that treats her like a servant. Cinderella cleans, cooks, help get them dresses, and even hold their bags when shopping in the market. While they are out shopping it is announced that the prince is having a ball to find a wife. Although the Queen is really the one having the ball it's for the prince to find a wife. The price believes that you can’t find true love at a ball. Cinderella is not able to attend with her family because they leave her chores and tell her the prince would never choose her. Cinderella wishes that she can go to the ball. Then her magical godmother appears to grant her wish. At the ball Cinderella and the prince fall in love but due to the magic she has to leave before the clock strikes midnight. Cinderella leaves her magical shoe for the prince to find her. In this new age many families are blended and of all different races. This is shown in Cinderella, african, and her family of a caucasian step mother who has a african and caucasian daughter. In the price family,he is asia while his father is caucasian and his mother african. Cinderella , teaches you to be yourself because you are special and beautiful on the inside and not just the outside. The prince fell for Cinderella in the beginning before the fancy dress and even after when he seen her in her rags. In America today you have to meet the standards of models, or people on the tv, with this movie you can teach young children that they are perfect just the way they are. This movie also expresses true love and that you should always go for it and make your wishes come true. The prince fell for Cinderella because she is real and pure and he found her and knew who she was the minute he seen her. If Cinderella gave up and didn't make her wishes come true she would have never got the chance to be with the prince and the love story would have ended. All the aspects of the movie teach a life lesson that could follow you from your young age to your adult
