The Prince had become even more infatuated, and Cinderella in turn became so enchanted by him she lost track of time and left only at the final stroke of midnight, losing one of her glass slippers on the steps of the palace in her haste. Sweeping the floor, the Victor the castle janitor saw the glass slipper and quickly grabbed it before the prince came down the stairs.
''Maybe I could tell the prince about this glass slipper and tell him that the glass slipper was to that very young beautiful lady that just transformed her self into a country girl, very weird'' he thought.

''I will try.'' she said sadly.
For the rest of the day, Cinderella tried to find the slipper in the palace by sneaking in, but she was unsucessfull, and went to bed thinking of the party the next day. It was a beautifull saturday morning, and Victor and Cinderella were doing their normal sweeping job, Victor, very exited and scared for the party, and Cinderella, scared of looking ridiculus with only one slipper. Meanwhile the fairy godmother was preparing all the spells, still trying to figure out how to solve the slipper problem. Finaly it was eight o'clock,
Victor was sweeping in the corner of the hall with the glass slipper in his little bag waiting to see the princess, the prince was at the front gate introducing all the guests and of course waiting for the princess he loved, and Cinderella, in a beautifull dress and cariage, with only one slipper. ''Of...course'' said Cinderella, realy scared.
Victor saw the princess and recognised her, so he came up to her and asked her:
''Is this yours miss?''
Amazed, Cinderella responded:
''Yes it is! Well thank you for this glass slipper, it is very clean! You shall have the pleasure to put it on my foot!''
Really amazed Victor obeyed, gently putting the glass slipper onto her foot.
The prince was jalous, but he did not want Cinderella to know, so he acted normal.
''Thank you'' said she
''Welcome'' Victor said
''For this act you will be free tomorrow'' said the prince
''And for the extra work you did to this slipper, you can stay with us the night'' she
